1. Replace "yourdomain.com" with your own domain name in all cases. Open Mac Mail, click on the "File" menu, then click on "Add Account".

2. Fill in your name, the email address and password for your new POP mailbox. Click "Continue".
3. Select "POP" from the "Account Type" drop-down and enter a description in the "Description" field. Enter the Incoming Mail Server. Enter your full POP email address in the "User Name" field, then enter your POP account password in the "Password" field. Click "Continue".

4. Next enter a description for the "Outgoing Mail Server" and enter your "Outgoing Mail Server"(mail.yourdomainname.com). Your "Outgoing Mail Server" should be the same as your "Incoming Mail Server". Leave "Use only this server" ticked and tick "Use Authentication". Enter your full POP email address in the "User Name" field, then enter your POP account password in the "Password" field. Click "Continue".

5. Click "Create".

6. Click on the "Mail" menu, then click on "Preferences".

7. Click the "Account Information" tab and then click on the "Outgoing Mail Server" drop-down and select "Edit Server List...".

8. Untick "Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)". Click "OK".

9. Click on the "Advanced" tab and untick "Use SSL". Save changes and your email should now be configured and ready to use!
