Eudora

1. These directions will only work with Eudora in Paid (Pro) or Sponsored mode. Eudora cannot handle multiple personalities in Light mode. If you are using Eudora in Light mode, we suggest switching to Sponsored or Paid mode, or using a different email client.

2. Click on the "Personalities" tab (the tab with two faces on it).

3. Right click on your current personality and select "New…"

4. Click "Skip directly to advanced account setup", then click "Finish".

5. Click the "Generic Properties" tab and enter a name for this account in the "Personality Name:" field.

6. Enter the name you want displayed when you send email in the "Real Name:" field.

7. Enter your POP email address in the "Email Address:" field.

8. Enter your email address in the "User Name:" field.

9. Enter "mail.yourdomain.com" in the "SMTP Server:" field.

10. Tick the "Authentication allowed" tickbox if it is not already ticked.

11. Click the drop-down menu under "Secure Sockets when Sending" and select "Never" from the menu.

12. Click the "Incoming Mail" tab.

13. Enter "mail.yourdomain.com" in the "SMTP Server:" field.

14. Click the radio button next to "POP" if it is not already selected.

15. If you are planning on accessing your email from more than one computer or through Webmail, tick the "Leave mail on server" tickbox otherwise, leave it unticked.

16. Click the radio button next to "Passwords" if it is not already selected.

17. Click the drop-down menu under "Secure Sockets when Receiving" and select "Never" from the menu.

18. Click "OK" and your set-up is complete!
